Split-Flap Board
A station split-flap board changes its word: each upper leaf flips down on its centre hinge in a cascade from left to right, lands with a tiny bounce, and the last letter turns up in the accent.
Also known as: split flap display animation, flip board css, solari board animation, departure board text.
